In addition to playing bass for Señor Gato, Jonathan Cullison is the electric and acoustic bass instructor at the Denver Music Institute (DMI). He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in jazz composition and arranging from the University of South Florida, and a Master of Music degree in bass performance and jazz studies from the University of Denver.

With 15 years of professional playing experience, Jonathan is one of the first call bassists in the Denver/Colorado region. Aside from his teaching duties at DMI, Jonathan is also adjunct faculty at the University of Denver, teaching electric bass.
